Nicholas Bredimus’ Noteworthy Accomplishments
A major adjustment in airline travel and hospitality was triggered by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who brought them together with the software world to evolve a new way to do business. His career highlights include time-saving computer programs, air safety advancements, and even the design of high-value homes. Anyone could have foreseen, of course, that given his family tree he was a sure bet to rise to prominence. Coming together from a true melting pot, his kindred can be traced to Classical times, with the maternal line based in Germany and Scotland. His father’s family, however, were born in Luxembourg and England, from where his forebears subsequently emigrated in the late 1800s.
That determined zeal held up following their arrival in the U.S.A. Nicholas, who would grow up with his siblings, was born to a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was employed as a practicing nurse. Mr Bredimus would dwell in the Lone Star State for quite some while as well as in Scottsdale, AZ, Reston, VA and Kansas City, MO. He’s worked in prominent posts for companies across the airline industry — most of them major brands. These included the position of Vice President for Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines. Most important, though, is his effort as a productive software architect working with the airline industry.
He is easily most acclaimed for a US Airways project, creating airplane management computer programs, which eventually evolved into an industry standard. He would look next at taking and recording bookings. For both air travel and hotels he designed programs to take on the majority of the work necessary prior to automation. He also produced QuikTix, an automatic ticket sales network.
Nicholas Bredimus has even been appointed to several positions unconnected to software development, keep in mind. Key titles with American Express and American Airlines followed, and in the biggest move of all he set up his own company in the early 1990s.
Having departed from the positions in which he first experienced success, his abilities are, nevertheless, still very much in use. His involvement now is with the architectural problems tied to the development of technologically advanced luxurious homes.
